It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to design this logo for Aimee Hartley from The Breathing Room and School Breathe. It is also a great honour to be one of the practitioners involved in delivering this new initiative to my local area. The Breathing Hub is not a class. It's a space - somewhere to land, to slow down, and to remember what it feels like to simply breathe.
School Breathe CIC has been awarded National Lottery Community Fund funding to bring The Breathing Hub to Monmouthshire — a free, weekly community programme launching this September. We'll gather regularly to breathe, move, create and connect. No experience needed. No referral, no charge. Just an open door and time to be with yourself and your community.
Our breath coaches bring a rich range of additional training, so every session is woven through with creativity and specialist movement practice. Alongside breathwork, sessions may draw on:
Qi Gong, Pilates, Yoga, Visual Art, Drama, Singing/Voice and Journalling
Each block of sessions has its own flavour - weaving breathwork with movement, creativity and rest in ways that build gently over time. Full details will be shared closer to launch. You are welcome to join at any point.
Breathwork that belongs to everyone
School Breathe have always believed that breathwork is not a luxury - it is a life skill. For years they have been bringing that philosophy into schools, working with children and young people to build real tools for calm, connection and resilience.
The Breathing Hub is us taking that same ethos out into the wider community. The same warmth, the same accessibility, the same belief that when people feel better in their bodies, everything else shifts - now open to everyone in Monmouth, every week, for free.
