Ozric Tentacles, Crackerblocks

Crackerblocks | Ozric Tentacles

I was having a really stressful day so went for a walk in the forest when I spotted a stream that had partially frozen, I became completely absorbed, watching the water beneath the ice and listening to it crack and flow. It transfixed me and I was lost in the meditative qualities of the experience. I went home and grabbed my camera to capture the rhythms of the water moving through the ice. Later that evening I was listening to Erpland by Ozric Tentacles, the track Crackerblocks seemed to have the sound and feel of the water compelled by gravity to find its way down no mater what was in its path just moving relentlessly, sometimes changing form and solidifying on the surface, but underneath still moving. I don't own the copyright to this music, but Ed Wynne from the band later confirmed that he loved the video and he's happy for me to share this!
