I was thrilled to be asked to design this 6 CD box set, as a lifelong Wobble fan I loved every stage of this project, from concepts to laying out the booklet. I pretty much had a free reign on this project and really enjoyed distressing the graphics to create a well travelled crate which represents Wobble's wide range of musical influences from around the world. The concept also has a nod to PIL's metal box, the chinese writing on the label on the front of the box translates as wooden box.
The cover features an actual wooden crate that resides in my sitting room. A few of the vintage labels were on a second hand suitcase i discovered, after I designed the other labels I printed out and distressed them before scanning and compositing in photoshop. The package also contained a 56 page book.
